since the wts speaks so beamingly about ,and quotes never endingly solomons writings, we should consider it possible that ,since solomon died apparently as an apostate that perhaps ray franz and we too may get everlasting life and he may even be quoted one day.

Theoretically, because Hitler never learned the troof and had a missing testicle, his rages and destuctive mindset over his European conquests might be forgiven him by the almighty. Further, since Napolean didn't know the troof either and had a bad case of hemroids maybe he too will be forgiven. On the the other hand, because I smoke and know the troof , and the elders sat as holy magistrates over my damned vile and disgusting soul guided by their holy spirit my chances for eternal life picking berries and eating vegtables is doomed. Jehovah's justice reigns supreme and the elders will all be princes. They are legends in their own minds.

It never ceases to amaze me how deep and varied topics these topics in consideration can be. I read these posts and feel stupid. I am trying to learn all this but there is so much, it is discouraging. The other day I was posting on where God resides and my father called me in the middle of it and ripped into me. It was very discouraging and consequently I left posting. Shit he makes me angry. Keep posting. Your all brilliant and I love learning these different angles. Most of my learning hasn't come from books just observing and thinking. I now see how greatly lacking in many areas I am.

The society that we live in has developed a judicial system through the milenia that started with the law code of hamurabi and evolved into what we see today. It consists of a system wherein fairness is established by trying to understand motives, personality, background of the person, state of mind, influences etc. This is done with a menagerie of phychiatrists, physchologists, professionals, witnesses to the events, jurors lawyers for the crown and prosecution a court recorder and a judge. These courts deal with crime not sin. Even with all that in place sometimes judgements are unfair. The watchtower calls themselves the society! Not only is there no due process there is none of the above. They sit in judgement as magistrates upon sin and hand out the harshest sentences that are usually always the same. Your'e Gone! They wait for a sign of repentance but they themselves are sinners. The only one in the the bible that had the authority to sit in judgement of sin and forgive sin was christ. Further christ never shunned anyone and could read the heart. These elders are the most warped arrogant unjust hippocrates the modern society has ever produced. These kangaroo courts all started with Judge Rutherford who was a lawyer himself!. Now the watchtower is full of lawyers who certainly know better how to establish truth in a legal way. They choose not too. Judge not, lest you be judged christ said. They are the most offensive, disgusting warped micarriage of spirituality, justice, mercy, love, fairness and truth I have ever encountered. There purpose is not justice. It is to silence people, and get drunk off their power to destroy lives. A person would probably get more justice in Iraq or a communist country that doesn't even know what freedom is. I can't beleive people would let themselves be subjected to these silly uneducated fuck wit bullies.

while discussing the trinity, you as the jw said that the word trinity is not in the bible.. the non-jw responds, well you believe in a theocracy or theocratic organization.

The witnesses, have an agenda of assimilation and as is said in the above you can present any mountain of evidence and they will not listen. I have found that years and years of trying to talk sense to these people is a fruitless endevour. Taking about doctrine is what they are trained for. Saving you is there objective. Indeed real love is a rare thing in there expereince and they may or may not question there own hapiness, however they have there families involved and their own social structure as a support. They want to draw into theological discussion that's just there cup of tea. Try to make them see the damage they cause people and appeal to common sense. Do not let them draw you into any other discussion. this is just what they want. Unfortunatly, I suspect that for them the only universal language these fools understand is the pain that effects them in their own daily lives. If their isn't enough pain yet because of their disonance then the elephant will just continue to sit on the needle until there is. Lets face it some of these clowns will never leave. If you show them love they may just see it as a heart condition that is ripe for Jehhoobers phychoticallly loving organization.

I was born into that load of shit and had so many restictions placed and enforced on me that to this day I celebrate nothing. It is so engrained. I have tried to turf every worthless stupid idea they teach and met oposition for everysingle thought or action I take. Things that people don't even think about and do like they are breathing I am made to pay for. Everyone I see gets freedom and after 20 years of being out they will still not leave me alone. My lifes energy has been wasted defying these relentles drones . My whole family is still in it and I have been villified at every turn. Even the other day, my father conspicuously invited me for dinner and a religious discussion. I have never had anywhere to go to find peace. They have sabotaged all my relationships and education. Even being on this board, my father has called all these brilliant wonderful people losers that are hateful and don't know how to research. He claims he could debate anyone on this board but refuses to and teels me to go to the watchtower sight. I told him I don't have to. I've read the watchtower since I was a kid. It's time for something new. Besides dad I can get all the faulty watchtower logic presented here. Any quote I want with the help of a conscious collective that does far better research. See for yourself. Every step I make, he attempts to bring me three back. I can't help but say that this fills me with hate. He refuses to see the damage it has done to the family. All of this only serves to enbolden me further but I fight daily with depression and anxiety over lost time. If I acomplish nothing else in my life, you can write on my tombstone "he defied them to the end even at his own peril." Unfortunately my father has already told me that no matter what when I die I'm getting a witness burial. I just can't win!

a colleague recently noted, when the topic of jws came up, that one reason discussed for the higher representation of jws requiring health care for psychosomatic disorder, self harm and mental illness, was that these are the people at home when they call.. it was suggested that the higher level of social dysfunction is not so much generated, but gathered, as it it these people who are at home or who have the type of time it takes to become jws.. thoughts ?.

Military Service Objection: What was the motive of the Watchtower Society?

i have spent some time puzzling over this every so often.

of course, i have to admit i was affected more, as i was draft age in the vietnam era.

i barely escaped going to prison over this issue, and had numerous friends who were not so lucky.. on a fundamental viewpoint - what exactly is the "biblical" standpoint for absolute abstention from military service?

Nice one again, Gary. It's a strange paradox when the bible says thou shalt not kill. Yet then it later states. No greater love hath any man than he that would die for his brother. Isn't that what a soldeir does when defending his country so his fellow man can live in freedom. I say scrap the whole book. Here is Rutherford forcing his veiws of military objection on everyone and then arming his followers with clubs. I don't recall Jesus and his followers with weapons in any of their affairs in the ministry. Those canes sure look innocent for those poor disabled folks, don't they. Anyone approaching might think, " are these folks disabled or am I going to get that cane imbedded in my skull. That physcopath was real clever and had no shortage of suckers to carry out his insanity.

Wow that's extemely hard to beleive! Don't underestimate how many uneducated and desparate people there are in the world. They look at what's happening in the world and want fast and easy answers. It is crop ready for the picking, especially in third world countries. On the other hand it could be a lie or the society is just playing with numbers again to make the people feel there efforts have not been in vain. It also demonstrates that there is still much work to do and souls to save. Very clever!

Demonic expereiences

all bs and religion aside we've all heard the demon stories of the witnesses but has anyone actually had an personal experience such that you can't explain with your rational mind that shocked you and may lend credence to the possibility of something paranormal.

That's super freaky man. I havn't seen the show your talking about though. I will relate to you now my freakiest expereince. When I was a child maybe 4yrs. old my dad was trying to determine the existence of the spirit world. He was studying bartonianism and rosicrusionism, in the study of metaphysics. I don't know if he invited something, or opened a portal of some kind but I witnessed a shadow ghost on different occasions with my own eyes. I could feel the evil. I was just a kid and it scared the bejesus out me. I learned later in life that actually witnessing this type of phenomenon is very rare. Audio phenomenon is rare as well such as the above phenomenon I described. Years later, my father told me that that particular shadow ghost came one night to his room and choked the shit out of him. He said it looked like a hooded figure and all he could see was glaring eyes and teeth. My mother then awoke and it whisped out the room. The witnesses were at his door the next day and he destroyed those books. It just seems too coincidental. My mother says the reason this might still happen in god's organization is because satan doesn't want her to have the truth. Unbeleivable. Evil does not seek light. It seeks darkness.
